About

Site Mission

Total Testosterone is a work in progress, and one I never expect to finish. But with each additional piece of content published I hope to bring it one step closer to being the single most comprehensive, authoritative and accessible source for information about testosterone and its relationship to men’s health (both physical and mental).

The guiding principles are: Clarity. Integrity. Evidence. Empowerment

That means I will do my best to clarify what the evidence actually says, so you can use that information to make better decisions about your health.

Better decisions don’t always mean different decisions – I’m not here to persuade or dissuade you. I’m not a doctor, nothing here should ever be taken as medical advice. But I believe your choices are yours to make, and they’re best when they’re fully informed.

“Different men, same biology.”

This site is for all men – and for those who care about them. Whether you’re:

  • An ‘average’ guy wondering why you’re feeling flat, how your body works, or if you have low testosterone
  • A diagnosed ‘low testosterone’ patient asking what that means and what’s next
  • A concerned friend or partner
  • A lifter who’s already gone beyond TRT and wants an honest and frank discussion of risks, benefits and monitoring
  • A doctor hoping to better understand the topic so you can better serve your patients

From the least healthy TRT candidate to the juiciest guy in the gym, it’s the same hormone, the same physiology, just playing out in different modes. A TRT patient on Nebido needs to understand half-lives just as much as someone pinning weekly – and our balls all get shut down the same!

“Empowering men to own their health through knowledge & understanding.”

The internet is full of incomplete, misleading, outdated or outright wrong information. Often repeated as if it was gospel. Total Testosterone will, if I’m up to the task, be the solution.

But I want it to be more than just education. I want to de-stigmatise low testosterone and TRT, and bring you the real stories of real men from all walks of life. Without any marketing BS  or promises of miraculous transformations (unless they’re supported by evidence, of course!).

Ultimately, I want to build a supportive and empowering community. To bring help to men who need it – because we all face difficult times in our lives, and the current solutions are often not enough. Because every man knows that “I’m fine” usually means “I’m tired, I’m stressed, and I can’t believe this is all there is. But let’s both agree to never talk about that.” – and I say Fuck. That. Noise. We’re meant to feel better than that, more than that. Let’s remember, together, what better feels like again.

Better health. Better men.
